The End of the Unintentional Knee-Powered Kill Switch?

July 7th, 2009

On Sunday and then last night after I got the kids to bed (Mrs. Mulry is out of town this week so I’m flying solo), I’ve been working on the solution to our unintentional knee-powered kill switch woes. Since having the “ignition on” switch down low on the console is a problem for our more Ichabod Crane-like drivers, I’ve re-designed the switch panel to put all of the switches up higher. I’m just about done with the re-installation in the car. I got everything wired up and the new panel installed on the passenger side, but the driver’s side is too close to a bunch of other car-related crap in the garage (spare tires, etc.) for me to get into it easily, and at 1AM this morning I wasn’t going to re-org the garage just to finish the job.  So I’ll tackle that tonight.

This being LeMons, what this really means is that I’ve probably just created three new problems for the one problem that I’ve solved, but that’s what we love about it, right? Right?

Photos to come once install is completed.
